About Me

Hi!

Welcome to my blog! I am excited to share my teaching journey with you and offer you some valuable resources that have helped me along the way. With over 17 years of experience, I have taught students from kindergarten to 8th grade, including several combo classes. District hopping three times gives me a unique perspective on the needs of different communities and the teachers who work there.

As a passionate educator, I am always exploring new ways to make teaching less overwhelming and more enjoyable. That’s why I create engaging and effective teaching resources that I proudly share on my Teachers Pay Teachers store, Peas in a Pod.

What sets me apart as a teacher is my ability to connect with my students. Being a bit of a dork has helped me to engage my students in a fun and playful way. Whether I’m singing, dancing, my students roll with laughter and are drawn in by my antics. Little do they know that they were just fooled into focusing on their learning! (But let’s keep that our little secret!)

In addition to my teaching experience, I hold a Master of Education in Cross-Cultural Education. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from CSU Northridge, a Multiple Subject Credential, and a Preschool Teaching Certificate. Education is a lifelong journey, and I am continually seeking new ways to grow and improve as a teacher. Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you find the teaching resources and insights I share helpful in your own classroom!
